Exhibition
187 Deptford High Street is transformed into Domestic Dialogues, a dynamic exhibition spanning six rooms across three floors. The building, empty for nearly a decade, was lovingly renovated by the Terrace Collective, preserving its raw character while creating a space where art, history, and conversation meet. Elements like falling ceilings have been reimagined to frame artworks, turning imperfections into features that enhance the exhibition’s themes.
On the First Floor, the works of Jack Hardy, Isabel Law, and Pascal Loschetter set the tone for the exhibition, drawing visitors into a space alive with creative dialogue.
The Second Floor brings people together, much like a living room with a fireplace. Here, Fiona Cuypers-Stanienda and Russell Royer’s works create an inviting atmosphere for conversation and reflection, offering a new layer to the exhibition’s narrative.
The Third Floor features contributions from Anna Zozulya, Meaghan Stewart, and additional works by Jack Hardy, bringing the journey to a thought-provoking conclusion and leaving visitors with lasting impressions.
Each floor offers a unique perspective, weaving together a rich tapestry of ideas that reflect the themes of space, memory, and identity. The building itself becomes part of the experience, its layered history adding depth to the conversations sparked by the works on display.
